11 May – Kimberley

11 May 2019

Our boys from SA were back again for our biggest Kimberley Charter of the year, they do 13 days and even then are still not tired of catching Barra. This was Tim & Harry’s 12th year running and the other boys are not far behind having become regular anglers in the group too. They choose the same tides each year and fish hard and always have a good time. We won’t disclose just how many Barra these boys caught but to give you a taste on just three of their days 89 Barra were caught and released. These guys are good, they all cast well and accurately and can spot the fish almost as quickly as Ross & Critter. Total numbers of Barra alone were in the hundreds and only 6 were kept for consumption. They didn’t break their record but what a great trip it was. See you again next year.
